Smart Home & Business Technology
Make your home or business easier to control, more convenient, and more energy-conscious with smart electrical upgrades. Kane’s Electric LLC installs smart switches, dimmers, outlets, lighting controls, timers, motion sensors, fan controls, and selected AC control options.
Control selected devices from your phone, tablet, Alexa, Google, or Apple system — installed safely and professionally by a licensed electrical contractor.
What Is Smart Technology?
Whether it’s a single smart switch or a whole system, we start with a consultation. You tell us your platform—Alexa, Google, Apple—and we’ll tailor the right devices. We’ll guide you through connecting apps and using voice or touch on your phone or tablet. Start small—expand when you’re ready. If advanced features need a subscription, we’ll tell you upfront. We build what suits you.”
Smart Device Options
Every home and business is different, so we do not recommend one-size-fits-all smart devices. During your consultation, we can review brochures and product options for smart switches, dimmers, outlets, ceiling fan controls, lighting controls, motion sensors, and other smart technology.
We’ll help you choose devices that fit your needs, your existing wiring, and your preferred platform, such as Alexa, Google Home, or Apple Home.
Some advanced features, such as video, cloud storage, or camera access, may require a third-party subscription.
Final pricing depends on existing wiring, device compatibility, Wi-Fi strength, wall box condition, switch type, 3-way switch setup, customer-selected devices, and any additional troubleshooting or wiring required.
Basic app setup, customer walkthrough, and connection to compatible systems such as Google Home, Amazon Alexa, or Apple Home are included with each package when applicable. Additional setup, programming, troubleshooting, or connection of extra devices outside the selected package may require additional cost.
Some third-party devices or services, such as Ring cameras, security monitoring, cloud video recording, or advanced app features, may require a separate monthly subscription paid directly by the customer to the device provider.
